Dr. Dave Jenkins, DMin, LMFT, is the founder and director of Fredericksburg Relationship Center, LLC. He earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Family Therapy and Master of Divinity from Amridge University. He retired from the US Army after serving 20 years as a mental health counselor. Dr. Dave worked for the federal government as an Employee Assistance Counselor and understands the pressures of maintaining a Top Secret Clearance. He provided direct support to the COPS Kids program during National Police Week.
Dr. Dave’s African American heritage and Christianity informs his therapeutic approach in the services he provides Fredericksburg. His clients leave therapy with a sense of hope and clarity. He’s been married to the same woman, of his youth, for 30 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, two daughters, a daughter-in-law, and multiple foster children.
